We’ve seen a couple thunderstorms drop some really good precipitation over the past few days across western Montana… much needed and SO appreciated! Kalispell actually broke a daily rainfall record on Sunday (8.16.26) when 0.81” fell (old record was 0.47” in 1947)!
Expect another day (mainly afternoon/evening) impacted by showers and thunderstorms. Once again these storms will be capable of moderate to heavy rain, small hail and lightning. Things look to quiet down a bit after sunset with lows tonight dropping into the upper 40s to mid 50s.
