While we’ve see a slight improvement in the regional air quality, Montana Department of Environmental Quality has extended the Air Quality Alert for Beaverhead, Deer Lodge, Granite, Madison, Missoula, Ravalli & Silver Bow Counties until 9am on 8.13.26 when it will be reassessed.
Monsoonal moisture is beginning to stream up from the SSW and will open the door for high based showers and thunderstorms by mid-afternoon through the evening.
