Happy Friday!
We continue to sit on the western edge of a large area of high pressure across the region… this is keeping a persistent, southwesterly flow in place with hot, dry & hazy conditions. This flow will also continue transporting wildfire smoke from Washington and Oregon into Idaho and Montana, maintaining poor air quality and reduced visibility across the region for the next several days.
With all that said, we have two major concerns for the weekend: Wind and heat.
